Aquila is a power catamaran brand of Sino Eagle Group, holding independent intellectual property in its hull designs. By volume it ranks among the largest power catamaran producers worldwide, with several hundred hulls delivered into the United States, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Singapore and Spain.
It is one of the clearest examples of a Chinese-owned brand competing internationally on design rather than on contract manufacturing.
