Hansheng Yacht Builders

Hansheng traces back to the late-twentieth-century origins of China's leisure sailing and GRP boatbuilding, and is among the earliest entrants in the sector. Its lineage runs through an early foreign-invested yard in Xiamen and a mid-1990s acquisition; part of the original workforce had been trained abroad, which the yard still cites as the basis of its technical depth.

The strategic position is unusual and deliberate: Hansheng has not set out to build a global consumer brand. It positions itself as a construction partner to international brands, handling hull building, systems installation and sea trials. Its stated strengths are a stable production team, mature composite hull experience, long-running international relationships and consistency of quality — with a steady rather than expansionary growth strategy.

Sailing — roughly 40–56 ft bluewater cruising yachts aimed at European and American long-distance and liveaboard use. Some models have accumulated close to 100 hulls; at least one mature mould has passed 200.

Power — the focus of the past decade or more, principally at 60 ft and 72 ft.
