Oceanwalker
Association visitThe project started in 2022, building its first boat in Zhuhai before establishing a formal manufacturing base in Fujian in December of that year. The first 60 ft catamaran went to Dubai, after which the yard relocated wholesale to Fujian.
The Chinese entity remains Fujian Oceanwalker Yacht Co., Ltd. Since 2024 the overseas brand has been standardised as Oceanwalker — a change made for registrability reasons in the United States rather than aesthetics, the previous English name having run into an intellectual property obstacle.
The brand explicitly rejects competing on price, arguing that future pricing power and secondhand residual value depend on not lowering standards for the sake of an order or a delivery date.
Catamarans — 48, 60 and 80 ft. Monohulls — 53 and 62 ft. Currently mature and in production are the 53 and 62 monohulls and the 60 catamaran; the 48 and 80 catamarans remain in design or tooling. The 48 is aimed at family use, weekend sailing, island holidays and charter; the 80 at high-end custom. Around ten 60 ft catamarans have been delivered with more than ten in build.
Manufacturing is deliberately in-house rather than outsourced, to keep process consistency under control. The yard is in transition from start-up to established export builder.
