Silver Yachts

Silver Yachts is an aluminium superyacht specialist whose Chinese operation centres on aluminium catamarans, built around lightweight construction, maintainability, long range and expedition capability. It is a design-led brand: Espen Øeino serves as designer and as a shareholder and co-founder, which brings global superyacht credibility to the programme.

The brand's earlier international work established its reputation before capability was established in China from 2018, with relocation and capacity upgrades completed in recent years.

SpaceCat — aluminium catamarans in the 22–50 m range, the current priority series. A 22 m and a 36 m are in build, with a 29 m planned as the key step between them. Larger Super / Explorer / Support platforms address expedition and long-range requirements at the top of the market, extending to configurations such as helicopter decks.

On the 36 m catamaran, beam is around 13.3 m; four IPS drives give roughly 24 knots maximum and around 12 knots cruise with 300 nautical miles; the specification includes a pool, guest cabins and crew accommodation. Once standardised, build time can come down to around twenty months where changes are limited.
